On Wednesday, legal technology and services company Epiq announced that a new batch of corporate, law firm and academic professionals joined its AI-development initiative, Epiq AI Labs. The additions–which include representatives from Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe; Steptoe; and Sullivan & Cromwell–bring Epiq AI Labs’ head count to more than 25 members. According to Epiq’s press release, the group is focused on researching and developing agentic AI for use in the legal industry, according to The Legaltech Rundown from Law.com
