Jon Kessler Vice President and General Manager, AI Advisory, Data, and Governance

Jon Kessler enables organizations to establish and scale AI programs responsibly that accelerate innovation while strengthening governance, security, compliance, and trust. With more than 30 years of experience spanning technology, legal services, digital forensics, risk management, and business transformation, Jon advises Fortune 500 companies and highly regulated organizations on enterprise AI strategy, governance, data security, privacy, and compliance. He is particularly focused on equipping legal departments to evolve their data into legal intelligence that improve decision-making, reduce risk, and deliver measurable business outcomes.  

Before joining Epiq, he held leadership positions with digital forensics and data collection firms, led more than 600 forensic examinations, served as an expert witness in federal and state courts 23 times, and provided training on AI, compliance, forensics, and eDiscovery to government agencies and global enterprises.  

Jon leads a team recognized by Microsoft as the 2023 Global Compliance Partner of the Year and a finalist in 2022, 2024, and 2025. Jon was also named a finalist for the 2026 Microsoft Security Excellence Awards Security Changemaker Award.
